Alcorn State announces Cedric Thomas as new head football coach

On Tuesday, Alcorn State University named Cedric Thomas as its new head football coach.

Thomas becomes just the 22nd head coach in program history. He has plenty of coaching experience, having stints at the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and even had multiple previous stints with Alcorn State in the past.
