Alabama man faces child abuse, sexual battery charges following years-long investigation in George County

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-An Alabama man is facing charges of child abuse and sexual battery for incidents that happened in George County over the course of several years.

Forty-nine-year-old Tony Fairley of Baldwin County is now awaiting extradition back to George County.

George County investigators say this has been an extensive investigation and comes after numerous people reported sexual and physical abuse by Fairley.

Baldwin County sheriff’s deputies and Foley police took Fairley into custody this week and have assisted in this case.
