Alabama man electrocuted while working construction in Biloxi

An Alabama man working a construction job in Biloxi died Wednesday after being electrocuted.

Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said 42-year-old Kevin Bartley of Foley was working on a site off Oaklawn Road pouring concrete foundations.

He was using a pump that was held up by a boom to maneuver the concrete in a tight space when the metal boom got to close to a power line and it arced, electrocuting Bartley.

The victim was taken to Singing River Gulfport, where he died.
