AG Fitch files brief for MS Abortion Case

Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch filed a reply brief with the U.S. Supreme Court Wednesday regarding the high-profile abortion case it is set to hear: Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

In the brief, Attorney General Fitch argued that policymaking should be returned to the states.

General Fitch also said that decades of progress in policy, society, and science further underscore the need to overturn Roe and return policy making to legislative bodies that can respond to these advancements.

The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Dobb’s vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on December 1st.
