Afroman will return to court to face lawsuit

Joseph Edgar Foreman, better known as Afroman, is headed back to court to face a lawsuit filed against him and Kress Live by the woman he was seen on video punching during one of his shows in Biloxi in 2015.
Haley Byrd, the women seen in the video getting punched by Afroman on stage, is suing the performer and venue for gross negligence. She’s asking for damages to make up for physical injuries. It is possible that the parties could come to a settlement outside of court.
A date for his appearance in county court has yet to be set.
