Adranos cuts ribbon on Mississippi Solid Rocket Complex in Stone County

Adranos, Inc., a start up manufacturer of solid rocket motors, cut the ribbon on its Mississippi Solid Rocket Complex in Stone County today.

Founded in 2015, Adranos designs, develops, tests, and produces solid rocket motors for space launch and national security applications.

The Mississippi solid rocket complex serves as Adranos’ motor design and manufacturing hub.

The campus is more than 450 acres and has over 60,000 square feet for solid rocket motor manufacturing, design, and storage.

Around 50 people attended this morning’s ribbon cutting in Stone County with representatives from industry, academia, as well as state, local, and federal government officials.

With about 25 employees, Co-founder and CEO Chris Stoker says is excited to continue to see the company grow. “I think for us, there is no limits to what we can do here and we are going to need great people to help us achieve our lofty goals. What we have found is that there are great people here, there are great people that want to come and help us build rockets which it is hard to find something more exciting than that.”

Adranos established a presence in Mississippi in 2020 with support from the Stone County Economic Development partnership and the Mississippi Development Authority.
