Adoptable dogs play at the Bacchus on the Beach Block Pawty

A local animal rescue is raising the ‘woof’ and raising money for a good cause.

Bacchus on the Beach restaurant partnered with Animal A.I.D. of Mississippi for the Bacchus on the Beach Block Pawty!

The event was a chance for people to interact with dogs up for adoption and for dogs to socialize with one another.

The party featured a live band, a silent auction, and doggy games.

Tito’s Vodka was sponsoring the event and even held a raffle for a two-day charter boat trip for one lucky winner.

Lyn Powers for Animal A.I.D. of Mississippi explains how the money helps the rescue. “The proceeds go to Animal A.ID. of Mississippi. We are a local dog and cat rescue based out of Pass Christian. We are looking to help as many abandoned and abused and stray dogs and cats as we can.”
