Adopt-A-Family program seeking sponsors – Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence

The Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence is looking for donors to help with its Adopt-A-Family Christmas program.

For more than a decade, thousands of families have benefited from this program. The center pairs donors with families in need, depending on how much each donor is willing to give. Donors receive a wish list of items and sizes to help when shopping.

CEO Stacey Riley says, “We do it for kids as well as the adults. It gives the moms and other adults in these situations the ability to think about things they would like for themselves because these are people who have never put themselves first. We rely heavily on the community to come in and help to make this holiday season as special as possible and put some smiles on some adults and kids faces.”

If you are interested in contributing to the Adopt-A-Family program this year, please email Jamie Allen at Include your full name, number, email, mailing address, and how many families or individuals you would like to sponsor. Or you can call this number: (228) 436-3809.
