Active Parenting Program happening in Moss Point

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- A heads up for parents in the Moss Point area, Community Action of South Mississippi is hosting their Active Parenting Program in the city.

Those interested need to head to the Family Education Center on Tuesday, December 9. The class begins at 5 p.m.

The focus is parenting children from ages five to 12. The workshop shows effective ways to use nonviolence discipline that works, encourage success, defuse power struggles, and stimulate independence.

Those who do attend will receive a certificate of completion.
