Accident on Highway 49 in Gulfport

This morning, a two car accident on Highway 49 caused traffic delays.

It happened around 9:30 on Highway 49 in Gulfport near Russell Boulevard. The driver of the white truck suffered from injuries sustained in the crash and was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

This accident caused delays for those traveling southbound. Gulfport police had multiple units on hand to clear the scene.
