Acadian Ambulance shares firework safety tips

Acadian Ambulance is promoting safety ahead of the Fourth of July.

The company is reminding the public to celebrate safely with fireworks this weekend.

While the best safety against fireworks is to leave them to the professionals, if you or others use them, light them outdoors in a clean area.

Don’t allow children to light fireworks.

Keep a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher nearby.

Never ignite fireworks in a container.

Wet used fireworks before throwing them away to ensure embers are all out.
