Absentee voting now open for Gulfport Ward 2 runoff election

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Absentee voting for next Tuesday’s Ward 2 city council runoff in Gulfport is now underway.
There are a few ways to cast an absentee ballot.
In-person absentee voting will be open at City Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday in the city clerk’s office.
Mail-in absentee ballots must be requested in advanced and postmarked by election day, June 30.
You can call city hall to request a ballot.
If you plan to vote in-person on election day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Ward 2 as Bryan Caldwell and Ron Ruland run to fill the seat vacated by Ron Roland earlier this year.
