Absentee ballots now available for November election
Absentee ballots for the November general election are now available.
Absentee ballots are available through your circuit clerk. Saturday in-person absentee voting dates are October 28th and November 4th from 8 a.m. to noon.
Registration deadline for the November 7th election is Monday, October 9th and mail-in registration must be postmarked by October 10th.
Harrison County Circuit Clerk Connie Ladner says absentee voter turnout is already looking promising. “Absentee voting for the November 7th general election begins today. We’ve had quite a few people come in so far to vote absentee, which is a good sign they don’t want to be disenfranchised. It’s important if you’re going to be out of town or if you’re a college student who will be away.”
You can check the secretary of state’s website here to find out if you’re eligible to vote absentee.
