A Pascagoula man charged with aggravated assault after firing shots at apartment complex

A disturbance at a D’Iberville apartment escalated into gunfire on Sunday and a Pascagoula man is behind bars.

D’Iberville Police Chief Shannon Nobles said 21-year-old Laroy Lamar Sullivan Jr., of Pascagoula has been charged with aggravated assault. He was taken to Harrison County jail and bond was set at $75,000 by Justice Judge Albert Fountain.

According to D’Iberville Police, officers responded to an apartment complex in the 10600 block of Automall Parkway at 3:05 p.m. about a disturbance.

Officers found an individual who was shot at inside an apartment. The victim, who was not injured, identified the suspect, who left before officers arrived.

Sullivan was arrested with the help of Pascagoula Police Department.
