A Latte Friends begins training ahead of grand opening
A D’Iberville coffee shop that we introduced you to a few weeks ago has begun training its superstars. WXXV News 25’s Elizabeth Keen has more from A Latte Friends.
When we last visited the superstars, they were meeting each other and grabbing some new gear ahead of the coffee shop’s grand opening.
Now, A Latte Friends has begun training and preparing their superstars for the big grand opening through daily soft openings that have brought in quite a few customers.
A Latte Friends employs young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and gives them a job that is not only productive, but fun and exciting.
WXXV News 25 had the chance to see a little bit more about what goes into making those delicious lattes, frappes, muffins, and stuffed waffles.
A Latte Friends will officially open for business on September 9th! The store is located at 10530 Auto Mall Parkway in D’Iberville.
