‘A Gift’ Christmas program at Campground Baptist Church

If you’re looking to get in the Christmas spirit, look no further than Campground Baptist Church this weekend.

The Gulfport Church located on Highway 53 is back with their annual Christmas drama called ‘A Gift,’ it’s to remind people the reason for the season.

What started as a small play on the church front lawn nine years ago has grown to include an immaculate set with a cast of 100 plus people and livestock.

The program kicks off tonight at 7. Church members Donna DiSalvo said, “When you come, you’ll have full bleacher seating. It’s a great view from wherever you sit. It is a full panoramic village. It moves all the way to a scene in heaven over to Bethlehem and the manger all the way back to the resurrection. We have about 125 people this year that are starring in the show, not to mention all the animals that will be here too. It’s the Christmas story.”

The program runs tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday, as well as December 19th. Admission is free and there will be hot chocolate and other goodies.
