Walter Anderson Weekend

This month, the great artist Walter Anderson turns 116 years old and, of course, the Walter Anderson Museum in Ocean Springs is celebrating in a major way.

The celebration is all month long with a highlight this weekend. That is Walter Anderson Weekend and it features two concerts by Luther Dickinson of the North Mississippi All-Stars.  Dickinson’s performance spotlights the Ocean Springs Community Center murals. You can catch his performance Friday the 20^th and Sunday the 22^nd.

On Saturday, there’s a Walter Anderson Block Party from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission throughout the weekend.
