The Biloxi Shuckers already have a postseason berth locked up, no matter what, but they also have the chance to give themselves a huge home field advantage down the stretch.

Coming into tonight’s doubleheader against the Mississippi Braves, they held a two-game advantage in the Southern League South standings with just seven games left in the regular season.

If they hold on to win their second straight half-title, they would be in line to host games 1, 2, 4, and 5 of a best of five playoff series.

Shuckers win game one 3-1. Braves win game two 9-5.
