Two women arrested for involvement with shooting in Hurley

In Mobile, two Jackson County women are behind bars for allegedly shooting a man in Hurley.

Thirty-eight year-old Rachael Dungan and 20-year-old Lillian Shoemaker are charged with aggravated assault, awaiting extradition to Jackson County.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell says deputies responded to the scene Saturday on Highway 63 to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Robert White told deputies he was shot when he was driving in a car behind Shoemaker and her mother, Dungan.

White went back to his home and his mother called for help. White was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
