Tips for School Safety to Keep in Mind as Back to School Time Rolls Around

As South Mississippi students continue to return to school, there are a few things to keep in mind as the school year starts if you’re behind the wheel, especially in school areas to help keep our kids safe.

Here are a few tips:

Don’t block crosswalks.

Yield to pedestrians and stop for crossing guards.

Allow space when stopping behind buses, and allow for greater following distance behind buses.
