Ole Miss baseball championship trophy tour stops at MGM Park

Ole Miss fans along the Coast had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the 2022 College World Series championship trophy at MGM Park this afternoon.

Ole Miss fans were able to enter MGM Park where the new bling was waiting for them.  Fans took pictures with the trophy to forever capture the moment.

The first 100 fans to take their picture with the trophy were given free t-shirts and posters as well.

News 25 met with current Shuckers player and Ole Miss alum Thomas Dillard who said he couldn’t be prouder of this group. “It’s awesome to be able to see it. I’ve been an Ole Miss fan my whole life and you know and as much as I wish I could’ve won one, if any group could do it, I was glad it was that group. You know, I’ve played with a lot of the guys and they’re just a bunch of great down-to-earth guys. The coaching staff is amazing, so for them to be able to bring that home was awesome.”

The trophy will make two more stops in the state before returning home to Oxford.
