Annual Steak and Steak Dinner
Tonight was the 28th annual Steak and Steak Dinner for the Boys and Girls Club of the Gulf Coast. The theme for this year’s event was ‘Boots and Bling.’
The Steak and Steak Dinner is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Boys and Girls Club. Other than the schools, the Boys and Girls Club of the Gulf Coast is the largest youth serving agency along the Gulf Coast. They reach around 5,100 kids each year.
The year’s Steak and Steak featured a silent auction, a band, and a violinist. Boys and Girls Club Marketing and Communications Coordinator Morgan Bogolin said, “This event is really special because we bring our kids here and it is a way for them to see a more upscale event. They also get to perform at the event. So, they are preforming for key stake holders in the club.”
