Gautier man arrested and charged with murder in connection to fatal shooting
Gautier resident Micah Angelo Burch, 18, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of 23-year-old Tyreak Henry Green.
Burch is in custody at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
On Thursday, July 7th, Gautier offers responded to reports of a shooting on the 2500 block of Southern Drive. The male victim, later identified as Green, was found shot in front of a residence when officers arrived. Green was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Detectives have developed several leads using the information gathered from the scene as well as information provided by neighboring police departments and Crime Stoppers tips.
Detectives will continue to work diligently to follow up on leads, process all information related to this incident, and make additional arrests if needed.
It has been determined that this was an isolated incident unrelated to gang or drug activity.
