Coast QBs ready to shine at ‘Big 40’ media day and camp
Later this month, 601 Elite Quarterback is hosting its inaugural Big 40 QB Camp and Media Day at USM’s MM Roberts Stadium.
The event features 46 of the top signal callers from Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. Nine of them hailing from the six coastal counties.
Pearl River Central alum Wyatt Davis, who won the 2017 JUCO National Championship with East Mississippi under Bo Wallace, is the mastermind behind the July 23rd showcase.
In this who’s who of big arm talent, two division I signees headline the QB crop, those being Alabama commit Bray Hubbard out of Ocean Springs and Ole Miss baseball commit Kaden Irving out of Gautier.
Both are former News 25 Student Athletes of the Week and Hubbard is the reigning Mr. Football for Class 6A, while Irving finished as the state’s third leading passer in 2021. Combined, they accounted for 100 total touchdowns.
