Pass Christian Rotary hosting ‘Paddle the Bay’ this Saturday

Get ready to break your paddles out and lace up your shoes for a fun and active event in the Pass this weekend.

Pass Christian Rotary is hosting a ‘Paddle the Bay’ fundraiser at Henderson Point Park.

Along with kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding in the bay, there will also be a 5K run, along with great food and music for the crowd.

Donations raised at the event benefit the rotary club’s community projects. Current President Carolyn Ishee said, “Everything we do is to support something in Pass Christian. The school district is a big focus, and we have helped with their new robotics lab, we do backpacks for students on weekends, if they need some food, and we also help our police department and our fire department.”
