MGCCC summer enrollment program

To anyone looking to get a jump start on their education, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is inviting you to enroll for fall classes and they’re adding new courses.

From cyber security to a new coding program, students enrolled in these classes can learn to help companies protect their assets from hackers and join the growing job market of software developers.

Executive Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Philip Bonfanti says along with summer classes, they’ll run about 30 sessions of orientation throughout the summer on their three main campuses and the George County Center in Lucedale. “At the session, the students will get a brief orientation, a welcome session, and then they’ll take an interactive tour of the campus. We’ll take them to all of the places we want them to be familiar with, so our libraries, our learning resource centers, business office, financial aid, even the gym and weight-training areas.”

Bonfanti says after the tour you will register for classes and will be ready to go for fall. Some summer classes began today and online classes begin next week.
