Fire Destroys House on Moran Rd. in North Harrison County

Harrison County firefighters were out in full force early Tuesday morning after a fire broke out at a home on Moran Rd. in the Northwestern part of the county. The blaze broke out around 2 a.m. Fortunately, no one was at the house when the fire started, but the house was burned down to the ground. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was injured as fire crews worked to put the fire out. Firefighters battled the fire for several hours throughout the morning, past daybreak. News 25’s Caroline Eaker was on the scene as firefighters worked to contain and fully extinguish the fire, as seen in this exclusive live report Tuesday morning.
