Jeffrey Hulum III running for District 119

After judges ruled in his favor over residency challenges, Jeffrey Hulum III is clear to run for the state representative House District 119 position.

Hulum III served in the United States Armed Forces for 22 years before returning home to his community. He now serves his community with organizations like the  ‘Extend-A-Hand, Help-A-Friend’ Foundation.

Hulum III tells News 25 if he is selected for the position he will always put District 119 first and then proceed to help the state of Mississippi. “No kid should have to worry where their next meal is coming from. That’s some of the things that are near and dear to my heart. I have seen it from living in ten different states, four different countries. I’m a servant of the people. I’m a serving leader. I’m going to continue to promote growth and life into District 119.”

Hulum III is running against current House District 119 Representative Sonya Williams-Barnes.
