New location in Hattiesburg possibly exposed to measles

Seventy-one new measles cases have been confirmed in the last week for a total of 626 cases in 22 states in the U.S.

Now, state health officials are looking into a new location of possible measles exposure in Mississippi. Officials say the exposure came from an out-of-state traveler now reported at three locations in Hattiesburg from April 9^th through the 11^th.

The latest location has been reported as the Turtle Creek Mall Food Court on Wednesday, April 10^th from noon to 2 p.m. The other known locations include a Subway inside the Circle K on Highway 11 on Tuesday, April 9^th between 2 and 4 p.m. and a Raising Cane’s on Hardy Street between 10 and 11 p.m.
