Trey Supak named Southern League Pitcher of the Week

Today, Biloxi Shuckers right-hander Trey Supak was named Southern League Pitcher of the Week for back-to-back scoreless starts against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.

Over the course of those two games, Supak went 13 innings, giving up just five hits and one walk while striking out nine.

Supak also won the same award last year during the last week of July.

Shuckers fall just two outs shy of a combined no-hitter. Braden Webb, Justin Topa, and Luke Barker were so close, but still log the 7-1 victory as Biloxi keeps the train rolling in the fourth straight win for the Shuckers.
