Easter events on the Coast

There are plenty of events around the Coast you can be a part of this Easter weekend.

In Saucier, Easter in the Park kicks off at 10 a.m. at Saucier Elementary. It includes a puppet show, refreshments, and the egg hunt for children ten and under.

A special needs egg hunt also starts at 10 a.m. in Biloxi at the Town Green on Beach Boulevard. Word is the Easter Bunny will be hopping through so keep an eye out for that.

In Long Beach, USM’s Gulf Park campus will be the home of the Jazz and Blues Festival. It starts at 10 a.m. and goes on until 6 p.m.

In Gulfport, the Handsboro United Methodist Church is hosting an afternoon egg hunt at 2 p.m.

The Gulf Coast Rescue Mission is inviting you to join them for their sixth annual Easter meal. They will be serving food from noon to 4 p.m. at the rescue mission in Biloxi. Take out boxes are also available to pick up.
