Fans excited for Shuckers home opener

Shuckers fans had a second crack at their home opener at MGM Park and they did not disappoint this evening.

Due to the heavy rain on Thursday, fans had to delay their excitement for just one more day, but they came out in full force to cheer on their champs.

Some fans tell News 25 the season just couldn’t get here fast enough.  Season ticket holder Juliana Skelton loves what a ball game at MGM Park is all about. “It’s good for South Mississippi. It’s good for tourism. Here we are representing Milwaukee down in Mississippi. It’s just good, a good place to be!”
