Pine Hill Festival returns to Stone County this weekend

One of Stone County’s premier events returns this weekend. The decades old Pine Hill Festival is back in Wiggins this Friday and Saturday.

The festival features great food, plenty of vendors, and fun for the whole family. You can also enjoy both locally and regionally known bands during the festival.

It’s one of the longest running events in South Mississippi. Shyra Galloway with the Stone County Chamber of Commerce said, “We did have to shut down the year before last and last year was like a modified version. So, we’re just super excited to be back in full swing.”

The festival kicks off with an opening ceremony on Friday at 5 p.m. with a gospel performance. On Saturday, the music continues and they’ll have their annual 5K race beginning at 8 a.m.
