GULFPORT FOREST HEIGHTS COMMUNITY EXPECTING UPGRADE

A community in Gulfport will be seeing some much needed road upgrades after a vote in Gulfport’s city council meeting this afternoon. The city unanimously approved the request for assistance from the Harrison County Board of Supervisors in this project. This new pavement project will happen on and near Holly Circle in the Forest Heights community. The Forest Heights community has seen much damage over the years and parts of Holly Circle and surrounding streets are uneven, have pot holes and old patch work repairs. So residents are excited for this much needed upgrade. The estimated cost is about $176,000.
