Vehicle goes off I-10 in Harrison County

Five people escaped serious injury over the weekend when their vehicle went off the I-10 overpass at Vidalia Road.

Harrison County Fire Marshal Pat Sullivan says an SUV was headed back home to Louisiana when the vehicle veered off the interstate and over the railing to the road below.

Due to the dense fog, visibility was reduced to just a few yards.

Two people were transferred to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
