Gulf Coast breweries donate to Camp Fire victims

It is the season of giving and Chandeleur Island Brewing Company in Gulfport is doing their part in giving back to the victims of the Camp Fire in California.

Sierra Nevada sent over a special recipe, a West Coast IPA named ‘Resilience’ to put on tap for the Gulf Coast to enjoy all while helping out those affected by the Camp Fire in Butte County.

Taproom Manager Aubrey Gill tells News 25 one hundred percent of the proceeds from the ‘Resilience’ beer sales will go to the relief fund. “Oh, it’s great. We love opportunities like this. They don’t come that often so we always pick up whenever we can. We really love giving back. We’re just reaching out a helping hand to the best of our abilities.”

The Biloxi Brewing Company and 1400 other breweries around the world are also participating in relief efforts. If you’d like to contribute make sure you stop by either Brewery and ask for a glass of ‘Resilience.’
