Kalem Reddix signs with ULL

Today, former St. Martin wide receiver Kalem Reddix signed his national letter of intent with ULL.

It’s quite the journey for the former three-star recruit who went from Southern Miss commit to Colorado State commit to enrolled in classes at Mississippi Gulf Coast to almost joining the military to winning a natty at East Mississippi and then finally signing with Louisiana-Lafayette this afternoon.

With EMCC out of school for the winter holidays, the Yellowjacket family was happy to welcome Reddix back as he put the finishing touches on his division I dream. “Honestly, it’s tremendous to me to see that everybody stuck by my side throughout what I’ve been through and my choices I’ve made. I’m just happy that I got up and became a grown man and made better choices and became the person I was supposed to be and got back on top of what I was supposed to do. So I’m just really appreciative honestly of who stuck by my side each and every day.”

The second time around, Reddix only had one other division I offer from UAB. St. Martin’s class of 2019 will do the honors on National Signing Day in February.
