Cloudy race brings runners to Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon and Half-Marathon

The race is over and the results are in.

The 3^rd annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon and Half-Marathon may have been cloudy and cool, but that didn’t stop runners from competing in the 26.2 mile race along Highway 90 yesterday.

Organizers didn’t disappoint this year after mistaking the length of the course last year for a shorter route.

The half-marathon began at the same time yesterday along the same route.

This year’s marathon winners were Ben Schneider and Samantha Yeager in their respected divisions. Half-marathon winners in the male and female division were Derek Bovard and Candice Schneider.
