East Central Football: Avery White commits to Southern Miss

East Central linebacker Avery White can’t sign on the dotted line just yet, but he has made up his mind.

Yesterday, the star Hornet announced his commitment to Southern Miss, choosing Jay Hopson and the Golden Eagles over South Alabama where three of his teammates just signed back in February.

His first game at USM could come sooner than later, if East Central was to represent the South in the 4A state championship for the second year in a row.

White was also tabbed for the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game on December 17^th.
