Halloween at the Harrison County Fairgrounds
It was most definitely a happy Halloween at the Harrison County Fairgrounds.
Everything from little witches and ghouls to princesses and superheroes packed the grounds eager to fill their bags with lots of sweet treats.
Lines wrapped around the barns, making this third annual event one of the biggest yet.
Harrison County Supervisor Angel Middleton tells News 25 she’s excited to see this event get bigger and better every year. “Out in the unincorporated areas of Harrison County, especially, the kids don’t have anywhere to trunk-or-treat, they end up having to go to subdivisions. It’s easier to walk and manage so this is a great thing especially for rural folks because they have one central place to come.”
If they were up for it, trick-or-treaters had the chance to be spooked inside their haunted house.
