House of Payne in D’Iberville

It’s almost Halloween and that means time for candy!

If you’re looking for somewhere safe to take your child trick-or-treating or to get a good scare, the D’Iberville Police Department has the perfect place.

House of Payne is a haunted house put on by the D’Iberville police each year. It will be open October 30th and 31st from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The entry fee is just one non-perishable canned good. Captain of Administration Shannon Nobles said, “Yeah, it’s really scary and we are going to leave that up to the parents. We suggest if your kids might be too frightened, make sure the parents make the call. It is scary, but again, as scary as it looks, it is a safe place for the kids to go.”

The House of Payne is located at the D’Iberville Sports Complex.
