Mississippi State ready for LSU fan base

Mississippi State is back from its bye week with another date against the Tigers.

Only this time, it’s a trip to Death Valley to take on LSU coming off its impressive upset win over the Georgia Bulldogs. Mississippi State has its hands full against the Tigers, who haven’t lost in Baton Rouge in over a year.

That’s a home winning streak covering seven games, two against top 10 opponents, leading up to Joe Moorhead’s first trip into Tiger land. “The great thing about college football is the passion of the fan bases, particularly in this conference. And out here they’re as good as any and they get fired up and they get after you and they’re into the game and they’re going to make it a challenging atmosphere, so those are the things I’m most excited for.”

The Bulldogs and Tigers will get things kicked off at 6 p.m. Saturday for LSU’s homecoming. MSU won last year 37-7.
