Pass Christian Shooting
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed one dead in a drive by shooting in Pass Christian tonight.
Harrison County Coroner, Gary Hargrove, says Pass Christian Police received a call at 5:25 that a shooting had occurred around 314 West railroad Street. They arrived to find the body of a man near the railroad tracks. The Gulfport Crime Scene Unit was there to work the scene.
Pass Christian, Long Beach, and Gulfport are all working together in the case. The shooting comes as a shock for the local community.
The victims’ cousin, Clarence Nichols, said “I feel that it’s a tragedy and we need to come together as one because this shouldn’t be happening in this community. It’s not right”.
The investigation is ongoing. As of now, no suspects have been named. News 25 will keep you updates on any new information.
