New blueberry crumble sour ale at Chandeleur Island Brewing Co.

Bubble, bubble, toil, and crumble, blueberry crumble that is!

It’s Chandeleur Island Brewing Company’s newest sour ale they just released last Friday, just in time for the fall season. Not to mention, a perfect pair with some NFL football.

This new sour ale is brewed with blueberries, brown sugar, vanilla and spices. It’s available for a limited time so make sure to get a taste while you can.

Head brewer Drew Pollard tells News 25 sour beers are the number one growing beers in craft beers right now. “This is our gulf sour series so, it’ll be around for a couple months or so until the next one comes out. It’s basically blueberries, walnuts, cinnamon and brown sugar so we took everything and put it into our beer and we’re pretty excited with how it turned out. If you don’t get it this time around, we might do it again next year, but if you don’t get it this time around, about every three months we come out with a new one so, there’s always next time.”

If you’d like to pick up a case to enjoy for the next Saints game, you can find it at the brewery in a case of four for $10 and be on the lookout next week when it hits the store shelves.
