Ole Miss disappointed over LSU loss
The red flags from early season wins are waving a little harder at Ole Miss these days, following a second straight blowout loss to begin its run through the SEC West.
Not the start to the 2018 season that Gulfport native Matt Luke had in mind with the Rebels falling 45-16 at number 5 LSU on Saturday.
That defeat coming just two weeks after a 55 point pummeling at the hands of top ranked Alabama causing the man in charge to take a hard look in the mirror leading up to a week six homecoming matchup versus Louisiana Monroe. “As a head coach you have a vision for what you want your team to look like, and when it doesn’t look that way you look at yourself first. But we’re going to continue to work and get the problems fixed, but that was disappointing that you work hard and you have this vision. When it doesn’t show up the way you want it to, you’re disappointed. And but we’ll continue to work to get it fixed, that starts with me and we will.”
Ole Miss gets ULM for homecoming at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
