First time Cruisers in Gulfport

Day three of Cruisin’ the Coast got underway this morning and hundreds of cars lined Highway 90 bright and early.

Cruisin’ the Coast has been around for 22 years and many Cruisers have rolled down to the event for years now, but for some this year is the first time.

Mark Bernier traveled all the way from Massachusetts to bring his 1931 Ford farm truck to take part in the festivities and tells News 25 he has been to other car shows, but never anything like this one. “Up in New England we go all over New England, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, and all that and this is the farthest one from home. The ones back home, the biggest one we have been to is 900 cars, that’s nothing. This is amazing. This is 9,000 cars. I have never seen anything like this. We have never heard about this until our friends told us about it, but they are going to hear about it when I get home.”
