Cruise in event at D’Iberville Middle School
This morning, D’Iberville Middle School students kicked off Cruisin’ the Coast with their very own classic car show.
Teachers and administrators at D’Iberville Middle School planned this event to show their appreciation for the hard work their students put in during these nine weeks.
So everyone dressed in their best 50s costumes, played games, enjoyed snow cones and took a look at all the classic cars. Students even had a chance to vote for their favorite car and the winners received plaques.
According to some middle schoolers, the competition was pretty stiff. “I like number 24. It’s white and has a horn and you can honk it. It’s really cool.”
“It’s white, it has like horns on the front of them. It’s cool.”
“I got in one of the black ones right there and it’s got a lot of space. I think all of them are really cool.”
This is the sixth year D’Iberville teachers planned this fun day for the students.
