Sentenced to life in prison for murder

A Gulfport man has been found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Thirty-six year-old Stephen Redmond was found guilty today of first degree murder in the death of Robert Walters in April 2017.

Testimony during trial showed that Gulfport police responded to a shooting at a residence on Skye Court in Gulfport where they found Walters suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
