Coast Electric holds energy fair to help customers better understand energy use
Coast Electric hosted their first energy fair since 2019. The purpose of the energy fair is to help customers get a better understanding of how to manage their energy use and cost.
The event featured Coast Electric energy experts who were available to answer any questions about energy efficiency.
The company’s electric vehicles were also on display, along with information about EVs for anyone who was interested in purchasing one.
Catholic Charities, the group that administers the Share your Blessings Energy Assistance Fund, was also available to answer any questions for those who might need help paying their bills.
Dolce Café Food Truck was also giving away meals for the first 100 customers to walk through the energy fair. April Lollar with Coast Electric said, “When our members manage their use and save on their energy cost, we save as well. So, having energy fairs and promoting energy efficiency helps out our members and helps our corporative and all of our members as well. So, it is important to us for a lot of different reasons. We want our users to be able to save every month.”
Coast Electric Power will host another energy fair Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Gulfport office.
