Seymour Law Firm gives legal advice

Tina Seymour-Demoran owns Seymour Law Firm and is a cancer survivor. She continues to give back to the Coast by helping non-profits and local businesses get started with legal help.

She spoke at the Ocean Springs Lions Club meeting today about what all this entails. Demoran usually asks clients certain questions on why they want to do this and lays out steps to guide them. She tells News 25 she always tells her clients in these areas it is important to organize your life before making any big decisions.

Demoran is happy to be helping her community with her legal skills. “We don’t have a lot of resources to give to people as far as checks. I can’t just write them a thousand dollar check, but I can give them a thousand dollars of my time. To me to be able to give them something to where they can get established is phenomenal to know that we’re able to reach out and give them that firm foundation without them having to go and pay someone to do that for them.”

Seymour Law Firm has given $100,000 worth of free legal advice out to local businesses and nonprofits.
